Happy new year to all my customers well nice to be back but it's bloody cold. As you know I went to Australia and checked out some fishing and diving. 80 degrees,and totally different fishing .I'll tell you about it when I see you.I saw sea snakes, tiger sharks close up and crocks ,Awsome.When I came back I caught the heron at my prize koi's I gave it both barrels! embarrassing thing was it was the plastic one that's been there for a couple of years .

Any way lets start where we left off,fishing.The boats been out of the water while I've been away ,I altered all the back end and steering ect .It wasn't quite finished so lost a week but its all done now.My first trip out was Saturday the 11th March with some regulars ,John Palmer Barnes+party weather was rubbish a very cold and fresh north easterly, one boat cancelled but we decided to have a look and we were all Glad of that .The total catch of keep able codling on the day was a staggering 54,This did not include smaller fish,pouting or whiting returned. Like I've previously said the smaller pre Christmas cod are better left to the new year they certainly improve, most of these fish were between 2/5lbs and a good quality eating size.

Sunday12th of March saw another regular party bracing the cold,The weather was certainly better but the fish not quite so numerous although we still managed to take home 20 cod of a reasonable stamp .Angelo pictured managed 4 for the pot ,quietly plugging away the stern of the boat.

Well most of my weekends are booked now and I look forward to seeing all of you through the year and lets hope it continues as its started. For those who didn't get booked in time I can only apologize but we always have plenty of week days available and there's lots of tagging to be done this year.Any one wishing to book get your dialing fingers working now.
