Well that's it for the year every one ,sorry the letters a bit late in coming out ,The boat is now out of the water and looking at some drastic changes to the steering and other maintenance work. last trip out was on the 18th We tried hard to repeat Tuesdays results but it wasn't to be we fished all the flood in the deep water in the swin ,big whiting ,one small skate but although we dropped a couple we never connected ,we ended up coming inshore and Ian managed to salvage the day with a few sizable but smaller codling ,The previous day on the 17th it blew a hooley touch and go whether we went but braved the weather and fished the priory ,A very strong North Westerly certainly kept me in the wheelhouse but the anglers weathered the storm and boated at least 15 keep able codling .

Best day of the week was Tuesday, 13th [unlucky for some}but not this party Biggest fish caught by Mark was a nice conditioned cod of 14lbs ,Den boated a nice fish of 8lbs ,Jim lost a clonker ?we boated a few smaller coddling and a few skate but the few nice fish make it worth the journey and the wait.It is quite good really ,for those prepared to fish it hard there is the chance of good fish There's not loads but that's the blessing because that makes it economically unviable for the commercial sector.all fish taken came on squid /lug cocktail and we fished rough ground in about 50ft .
