How come the other charter boats get out when its calm and I just seem to get the rough weather? Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Friday three anglers Strong south west 4/5 fished the swim, nothing brilliant 3 anglers, two new comers all had fish but deteriorating conditions did not help us ,It was mainly dog fish ,one small hound one small tope and a few whiting but NO ONE WAS SICK which given the conditions was a bonus.  Saturday New party Denis and friends and dare I say it his son, first time and he was a bit worse for wear but hope fully he enjoyed it, I think the others did.

Yes South Westerly 4/5 lovely, first mark was very slow sat it out for ages, dog fish and a couple of small hounds.  Come low tide I made a move, for the better we were soon into skate, more dogs,small hounds and whiting, biggest skate came in at 10lbs total of 11 skate for four anglers.  All could have been retained but were returned not bad for four anglers given the diabolical conditions it was a good result .Sunday while other charter boats canceled we had to go again, 5 anglers two rod hire,they suffered it well,It was touch and go whether we got there but we did.  Again south west 5/6. BBC and ITV both give 12mph respectively, I'd dearly like to invite them out on one of their predicted forcasts. The highest that day was 40MPH once again 40mph for the benefit of any meteorological representatives who might read this site.  Fishing ?Yes great we seem to have found that midas touch within 5.  Minutes we were into fish we had 5.skate and one dog fish on board within the first 15 minutes.  It was only possible to fish till low tide We ended up with 12 skate to 9.5lbs, dog fish, two small hounds and one small tope then we made a run for it, no sick bags were called for and that really says a lot for the anglers.

Tomorrow we were going experimenting but cancelled the weather has put paid to that.  Next trip Wednesday.  WE HAVE SPACES AND THE FORCAST LOOKS GOOD?????? cheers all the best Dave Weaving. No bass this week so if you want to veiw this years best check last weeks report.
