weekending 11/11/2007

Last week was bad but this one has to be for the record books all for the wrong reasons. firstly the weather Strong wings in the far north gave us flood warnings to equal 1953.The only days I got out this week were Friday the 9th of November and Sunday the 11th .No pictures says it all ,Friday the worst day for the predicted floods saw us fishing the river,Strong North Westerly and near record tides ,by 11.30 am the tide in Felixstow was 1.7 meters above predictions Five anglers fished we choose the South shore There were fish but the amount of weed is horendus.we ended up going in early ,we had about 6 reasonable codling and one dab.

Sunday tried again South Shore it really was hard work mainly due to the weed .7 anglers yes few cod but only one whiting .after the flood I went to Clacton for the last Hour again a few cod but biggest we had was about 3lbs ,lets see what next week brings few trips but weather could ruin it for us again ,cheers dave Weaving
