Well only one week to go before I call an end to the years fishing for me.  Firstly let me thank all my customers for their support through the year and wish them happy Christmas and New year.The last week in my calender for the year, started a bit slow but as the tides increased so has the fishing, Friday two anglers we tried for the better fish but afraid it was dogs and whiting Ian managed one cod for the pot. Saturday saw Mark from Bury St Edmund's Busy with dogs, Whiting and a couple of codling, Think they enjoyed the day biggest cod about 6lbs.

Sunday 11/12/05 Paul Coupins party well we tried and it wasn't all bad biggest cod fell to Simon [nephew of chris 9lbs 6 oz Uncle Chris came 2nd 9lbs sorry Wayne you lost £10.00.  We ended up with about five decent cod and about 9 roker pictured below, lots of dog fish and whiting, most of the cod came to squid / lug cocktail.  Must admit we have about a week to go and judging by the sprats coughed up by the whiting we are not far out.

Any way 4 trips / one week to go for me hope to see many of you next year and if you haven't booked yet get in quick / hate disappointed customers.

I have sadly lost a couple of my customers this year and thoughts go out to families and friends ,We are sadly all getting older and my motto from now on is no day is a bad day enjoy them all you never know what's round the corner.
