Bit late coming this week sorry about that but computers playing up so struggling to get the report done.Been a bit temperamental this week but as time has gone on the fishing has improved .Biggest problem going south has been the dog fish,Inundated with them .The skate have been here one day ,gone the next. quite a lot of hounds now showing but as yet no size.Best day this week has been today the 16th we decided to go East and yes a vast improvement.

Best fish caught by Mike hole was a nice bass of 9lbs 3oz and congratulations to him it went back. Rather than dump it back and see it roll over and get attacked by the gulls we gently re hooked it and hung it in the tide till it recovered and then slipped the hook .All was well and glad to say there for someone else's enjoyment hopefully not the nets.

This was one of four that Mike had the rest were 2/3lbs and fit for the table.  Mike Cains also on the same trip caught the biggest skate one of three for him this was weighed in at 12lbs along with another of 10lbs I think we topped up with 7 skate 10 bass and of course the dog fish plus a few pout.  Also saw our first eel but fortunately it fell off.

Most of the bass falling to lug worm with skate mainly on squid. pictured are the lucky bass in the recovery position just lip hooked and held in the tide till it recovered and oph's we had a casualty one airial cost one angler dearly sorry and Mark thanks for the cups.
