Again got to struggle for a report mainly due to the weather. Boys from Bishop Storford on Tuesday 13th 5 anglers opted for the river ,no giants but quite a few whiting and codling ,one skate to 9lbs weather not good so in all no a bad day ,see you in new year boys ?

Thursday saw a four boat police contest from Brightlingsea ,we fished off Clacton ,a bit slow everything done on point system,I believe we came 2nd,fishing was ok again no giants and the fishing dropped off with the tide ,best bait squid [i have not used worm yet this year, some have bought their own but hasn't really made a difference]

Saturday again to clacton again no giants ,quite a few codling not many whiting ,most of these seem to be up in the river,one skate to 8lbs .

Sunday A real crap day force 8 south east ,we got out but small tides the fish just did not feed.we sat out the day but all efforts to the persistent anglers they tried and it was not easy but there you go we have had a good year and cant succeed every week ,see what next week brings all the best dave weaving jennad
