Not much this week,Lazy week but I did go out with a friend on Friday ,It was rough but new fast cat and it did handle it well,Unfortunately try as we did the wrecks did not produce 47 miles off and pouting off every wreck?not impressed but we took the risk and if you don't go you don't know , we did stop for a while on the way in only an hour and that was encouraging ,cod ,bass,skate whiting and dog fish , the cod are definitely on their way in and I'm not talking about the nits inshore off Clacton The last couple of weeks has shown some decent size cod showing,no numbers yet but good quality prime fish ,lets hope weather ,parties and diesel supplies don't hamper our quest for the better species offshore .

Saturday regular party 8 anglers minus one [conservatory had to be built] Not a bad day plenty of Whiting ,odd dog fish 3 skate and two bass but calmer than friday and flat by the end of the day.

Sunday another lot of regulars ten in all ,we went to the same mark tried it in reverse started on top of the bank but one skate and slow ,moved to the deeper water mark and non stop whiting and they weren't a bad run of fish often two at a time ,we bagged up ,also featured were obviously dog fish and another couple of skate .pictures yes got a few but not till tomorrow cheers dave weaving GOT A COUPLE OF MID WEEK TRIPS THIS WEEK BUT ALL FULL HOPEFULLEY WE CAN BRING COD TO THE PAGES NEXT WEEK .
