Not the best of weeks this week,we have had fish every day but nothing big.On monday we even had anchovies on feathers,6 of them.The worst thing has been the unsettled weather that has colored the water and broken up the shoals of mackerel and bass we've got used to.

Monday Corporate day six guys from an electrical company in Chelmsford,It was a bit of a struggle and has definitely not been what we've grown accustomed to.This was the day of the anchovies one skate and a frate load of dog fish.we went north and eventually managed a few hounds though nothing great

Thursday 6 Individuals mixed day ,few hounds,dog fish sect but nothing outstanding

Friday Garry Bushell and friends from Gravesend Again tagged a couple of double figure hounds but still not the larger beasts we are used to.

Saturday Party again weather diabolical rain ,never seen rain like it at sea fishing slow ,few hounds,odd mackerel and dog fish .

Sunday Communication problem with party?initially tried the two numbers given and unable to contact,I don't normally take deposits from existing customers and when I cant contact them alarm bells ring .I have spent many days waiting for parties to turn up only to be let down and this is my living also in fairness to my parties I wouldn't want them to turn up and find I'd taken another booking bit of a problem if you cant contact them.The outcome was I had to turn to late individuals and make up a party.Again nothing great,a few bass to 4lbs ,Mackerel and smooth hounds,weather and tides again causing problems and the next few days don't look very encouraging
