Well here we are nearly at the end of the year. I am working up to the end of dec then its a well deserved holiday. Unfortunately in this job while the cats away the mice will play? Unfortunately for me this has occurred yet again which has had a profound effect on my site, write ups ect, still personnel problems occurs to us all its how it happens is critical and I'm afraid the day after a surprise 60th party given by the one you trust doesn't go down well but as we say that's the life of a charter skipper? Right I have explained my lack of enthusiasm during November now to fishing. Been out Tuesday river Job good bunch of blokes from Yeldham? Area the weather foul but fishing not bad for Mark Howard and friends quite a few whiting and coddling .The boys took there bag home back to the local pub to be cooked that evening. Plenty there hope you enjoyed the meal but don't think you could have eaten all that lot. Friday Paul Cousins and party from Thetford area, we fished the river most of the weed has gone but fishing was quite a bit slower we had plenty of cod in the river then decided to try Clacton area ,we did manage a few more down there but nothing big, a few keepers. Saturday started straight at Clacton ,funny tide no run and smaller fish, it wasn't long before the South Westerly wind picked up and we decided to scuttle back to the river. A wise move we managed quite a few fish for regulars Andy in relative comfort.but it was bloody cold still all caught quite a few keepers. Sunday Maldon club opted straight for the river six anglers,It had its quite period but in the end we had 16 keeps, cod that is and quite a few whiting ,again cold but we ended the day with again respectable catch. All the best cheers Dave. I will be off Jan begining of Feb Going Baramundy fishing Aus I'll keep the reports going till then then give you hopefully some pics from down under all the best Dave Weaving
