Got out a bit this week but weather was touch and go?

Monday we went off,It was horrible North East 5/6 I wanted to see what else was about so with six angles I went It was to rough offshore ,few dog fish and small hounds so made a run for it inshore .Proved a point. That mark inshore it was useless on Sat the difference was it was flat calm.all the previous times it had fished well were in fresh conditions so this was the perfect test and it proved a point.We had fifteen skate and a few codling.

Wednesday the cream of the week. Perfect Weather but 8 anglers dropped to 4 .turned out 4 missed out,we had five bass two around the 6lbs ,skate,dog fish and smooth hounds but who had the biggest sorry [skip]14lbs .The day was great fish and weather unfortunately one angler,Glen Savil slipped on the jetty after disembarking and dislocated his finger ooch! sorry hope you recover soon but he managed to get home with his bass and skate.

Saturday we went off again,not very nice ,North east Ebb tide but we managed a few skate dog fish and small hounds,What we also had were tope about six of but only up to 8lbs? not normal this early to see the smaller ones some possibly last years but that's fishing you never know.One skate that was caught and released was a bit weird it had obviously been badly bitten at some point although this was an old injury and had healed but shows how some fish overcome their injuries.

Sunday It was wet ,it blew ,It was horrible,The predicted wind never came but direction and rain made it uncomfortable We ended up with a few skate,codling, eels but strangely enough not one dog fish. Amanda finished the day with a nice skate but this weather and their forecasts make our job very hard.
