Out Wednesday,Thursday and Saturday .Warning don't leave cameras in waterproof bins on the deck the bins fill up with spray and the cameras don't float?[No2].no pics this week well not from that camera .Thursday saw a new group Bob Tate and company mainly rod hire not used to sea fishing There should have been seven but it turned out to be Ten,always a struggle with more than eight novices its a job to help them all out but They all did well, The weather was still suspect so we started off at Clacton,one skate ,dogfish,dabs,whiting and codling though most on the small side.we came back in the river for the flood but with the small tides had to wait quite a while for the start but when they did it was pretty constant. Thursday saw four of my regulars ,good anglers so we tried to get off the weather was foul 5/6 predicted 7 South Westerly we went off to the burrows,remember this is 30th Nov .Three keepable bass,Smooth hound, dabs dog fish whiting and codling.we were limited where we could fish and fished the ebb down to low water,we then made a run for it and came inshore We ended up off Clacton for about an hour of flood ,lots of small codling and whiting and another dab .Saturday Rocky Smith and family friends we went off Clacton ,first mark started a bit slow,several undersized codling and whiting we moved east off the pier and found a respectable number of larger codling up to about 3lbs and some better whiting The party were quite conservation minded and returned many that they could have kept .Sunday bloody Sunday we couldn't even get out to fish the ebb cancelled. I really need a break in the weather to get off and find some decent fish for the the magazines so here's hoping ,the weeks are slipping bye and we are running out of time before christmas but hopefully we will get a crack at it cheers dave weaving
