weekending 4/11/2007

Really not much to write about this week only two days   Saturday and Sunday

Saturday 3rd A new party six anglers from North London .The weather was brilliant but the fishing was by our standards rubbish. We opted to try offshore for better quality fish but afraid we ducked out.The fish inshore off Clacton are numerous but really too small even although they are the legal limit no meat on them,If you want DOG FISH phone me asap the sea bed is littered with them literally hundreds of them.and a few whiting for good measure.Coud not count how many they took home but if anyone wants to they are welcome. Skate tried on the last knockings and managed one .Really need the temperature to drop?its still very mild and I think most other boats having the same problem

Sunday Will Amos and Patrick McEnna..Still wanted to try for the bigger fish so we traveled further east and dog fish like you have never seen everywhere we went it was dog fish,we started in 50ft then moved 80ft but what ever where ever it was dog fish ,We did have one small cod ,dropped one and three skate plus a splattering of whiting .The tides this weekend were very small and sunday the first making tide  so will see what happens this week bigger tides and out a few times sorry we couldn't have better news next week we have more trips booked so wait for it cheers Dave Weaving.
