Most of the hounds seem to have moved off now ,a few smaller ones remaining along with lots of this years small tope,must be the most I've ever seen this year ,The future looks good!. ,Mostly skate now the mainstay ,lots of dog fish and still the odd eel .There has been quite a few whiting and the odd codling, but I must stress odd ,Its a bit between seasons so we await the next big spring tide to see what little lovelies it will bring.

Good picture of Mark Dawson and his uncle Jim this month.Jim is72 and still slaying them.Best bit is he takes them home for his dad who's 97 so if there's a message there it's eat your fish.

Saturday 24th Weather turned out better than expected although we still had a casualty on board .This caused us to come inshore, we fished a shallow mark 10ft deep and caught a couple more dog fish ,one decent skate an eel and two dog fish. Total of 9 skate for the day plus dog fish odd whiting and one small bass.

Sunday 25th we risked the now common inaccurate forecast and sat it out, the predicted force 5 Sw dropped to a force 2.Seven anglers fished and approximately 11 skate were caught along with ,small hounds ,dog fish and small tope.
